CitySys – a unique, open IoT platform – which already integrates a wide range of applications in infrastructure, environment, society, health, care, public sector and data intelligence – introduced this week on the Urbis SMART CITY FAIRN in Brno.
The key to success is an open system architecture
CitySys is built on a robust and scalable IoT architecture that builds on the concept of openness with regard to all security aspects. It can combine multiple functions, such as smart lighting, security, traffic monitoring and management, parking, EV charging, waste management, and more. Openness lies not only in promoting technical and IT standards, but also in business.
Naturally and easily, it allows the city to integrate existing and new city solutions into the CitySys platform – helping to create a comprehensive digital image of the city.
City Dashboard (Digital Twin)
CityDashboard (Digital Twin), which allows the collection and visualization of information from various systems installed in the city (eg parking, safety, waste management or lighting management) on a single system screen. It is a space where a city or municipality forms its Digital Twin. CityDashboard is a clear and user-friendly environment in which the city, municipality,
region, or other territorial unit can be effectively monitored and managed based on data. Monitoring can be realized in detail of each device or you can only check the status
through key parameters (KPIs) in the form of graphically understandable widgets in real time.
A new look at the public lighting system
In addition to the unique CitySys platform, the company has defined a new perspective on the public lighting system, which makes it a unique and ideal infrastructure for building a long-term concept for developing smart cities. Multifunctional, intelligent public lighting poles will help address key urban challenges – especially thanks to the ability to integrate cameras, sensors, and other IoT electronics to receive and transmit data.
